Helloooo... Long Time No Post

Hi Everyone! It's been a while since my last update. I hope everyone's doing well.

It's been a crazy few months, but I have enjoyed being busy :)

Current Projects: A Sock Monkey Themed 1st Birthday Party and a Purple & Ivory Contemporary themed Fall wedding.

So being an event planner, I know the first thing I should do is to establish a good relationship with vendors. Networking is very important when it comes to this business. It's really hard entering inot this business when no one knows who I am and what I do. I know I'm not the only one out there wanting to start their own business. So, good luck everyone! It's a tough road but I know it will all be worth it some day.

Check out these wedding decorations I found. Aren't they gorgeous? These are some of my favorite inspirations~

It's a Girl Thing

I love everything girlie. I especially love weddings that use pink so well that it romances everyone there. I am a sucker for romance :P

Check out these wedding pictures I found on Style Me Pretty. They are so gorgeous! I love what they used for their table numbers... So creative! You can find more pictures and more information about this wedding here at Style Me Pretty.

An Orange & Tiffany Blue Spring Wedding

I feel very honored to have the opportunity to assist Thy and Richard to plan and design their fairytale wedding. Richard is an US Diplomat currently residing in Egypt. This couple met through salsa dancing and have been dancing their way all around the world. What makes planning their wedding challenging is that nothing about these two lovebirds is traditional. Thy is Vietnamese and Richard is Western Indian. They had 3 ceremonies in one day, one in each culture: Vietnamese, Indian, and American. It was challenging but fun at the same time.

I love their color choices. When we first discussed about their centerpiece designs, the bride wanted to incorporate an Asian flair but not too Asian, if that makes any sense. So what we ended up with was... lanterns! Check them out~

Baby Shower

Baby showers are always fun, but what makes each party different is when you are surrounded by good friends and good food.
Check out these pictures from the baby shower I designed and planned over the weekend. What do you think?

Simplicity at its best

Happy friday!!!

This weekend I have a baby shower and a multi-cultural wedding. I am so excited and can't wait to share with you all the pictures.

When it comes to table designs and displays, I always prefer simplicity over stupendous.
When you have too many things on table, it becomes crowded and even look messy. If your colors are bold, try use a light colored table linens to bring out the colors that you want people to focus on. Check out these beautiful table settings. I love how something so simple can look so glamorous.

Work with your florist to create arranges that show off the flowers of the season.
